While reading this, I have flashbacks and de javu. it was like I've read it before. But I do not remember the storyline. Te more I read the more I am convince that I read te story before.
So I just skim through the book and trying to remember the story. Like every Picoult book, it filled with mystery and wonder. You get to understand different people perspective which is cool.

The story is about a woman whose husband (second husband), a policeman and her daughter was killed by the carpenter. And she was pregnant by the time. The killer was caught with the daughter panties in his pocket. So it was assume that he molested her and her stepdad came to help and he shot them both. In reality, it was never what it seem.
That's why people, nanny cam! Nanny cam is useful to find out what really happen. But of course there is the privacy issue.
Anyway, he was given a death sentence. Years later, her second daughter, Claire had a heart problem. And the killer named Shay wanted to give his heart to her.
So the story journey about Shay being in jail creating some miracles. Like creating water to wine from the pipeline, having extra chewing gum enough for everyone and knowing bible verse even though he said he never read them before.
A jail mate point of view. A priest who was there at Shat trial, the lawyer and of course the mother.
So you get to find out different view point. It is pretty interesting. And you will find out, spoiler here, that Shay was in fact innocent. He caught the cop dad molesting the kid and tried to help her but shots were given out and accidently killed the girl.

But in the plot is mostly bout the right for Shay to have a different type of prosecution other than the one he was suppose to get. Cause they want to save the heart, he needed to die differently.

I sort of like the ending from Claire point of view. It's sweet ending to a chapter and pretty disturbing too. When the dog died and she hug him and he came back to life. Creepy. But it's a part of Shay that is alive.

Oh well, sorry for the jumble up.
